Earlier this year Magic Online introduced the monthly Legacy Challenge, a large online tournament with some of the most sought-after cards on the line. With Eldrazi heavily on the rise, I had a feeling I should probably factor their meta pressence into my decklist but couldn’t really find something that felt right, so I decided to field my regular Chaos Elves list:
Here’s how my tournament went:
That’s it for today! In the end barook took down the tournament with Eldrazis, beating MentalMisstep’s Miracles in the finals. You can find his decklist over at MTGGoldish. Honestly, I am tempted. The deck doesn’t cost an awful lot to build on Magic Online and I really wanna taste some of that sweet Eldrazi power. If the deck remains legal until GP Prague, which I very much assume, it’s definitely one of the very best choices you can make. People still can’t agree on the correct way to build the deck, but from everything we’ve seen it probably comes down to your “regular” Colorless Eldrazi vs the GW build of barook. I think you’re probably not going wrong with either. For now.
That’s it for today, thanks for tuning in and see you again next week!
